Announcing the 14th Congress of ISFRI in Fukui, Japan!

We announce that the 14th Congress of the International Society of Forensic Radiology and Imaging (ISFRI) will take place from May 15th (Thursday) to May 17th (Saturday) in 2025 at the Fukui International Activities Plaza in Fukui, Japan.

A Diverse and Engaging Program

This congress will showcase various research findings from fields including postmortem imaging, anthropology, crime scene investigation, forensic veterinary medicine, forensic photography, forensic radiography, forensic nursing, and more. Our goal is to enhance the daily tasks of participants by providing a platform for the dissemination of knowledge. A highlight of the event will be a lecture by Dr. Shiotani, a renowned forensic radiologist from Japan, who will cover fundamental knowledge and the latest insights in postmortem imaging.

Special Sessions and Excursions

The conference program includes presentations from each sub-committee, facilitating information sharing for future society activities. On the first day, Dr. Kawabe, an expert in paleontology, will present research on dinosaur fossils during the lunch lecture, followed by an excursion to the Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with actual dinosaur fossils and enjoy an engaging exploration.

Networking and Cultural Experiences

Ample time and space will be allocated for discussions, including specialized sessions, allowing for in-depth conversations. As part of our social meetings, we are delighted to collaborate with Kokuryu Shuzo to introduce participants to Japanese sake culture at ESHIKOTO, providing a deep experience of Japanese culture. The customary gala dinner will be arranged on the second night, fostering camaraderie among attendees.
