Working Group:

Pediatric Imaging

The sub-committees of the ISFRI each play an important role in our society. They have a focus on a specific aspect of forensic radiology and imaging and as such manage a specific activity for the Society.

The paediatric imaging sub-committee shares the same overall aims as ISFRI, to:

  • Strengthen & develop field of forensic radiology & imaging

  • Promote best practice, education & specialization

  • Establish quality standards & guidelines

  • Encourage & develop research programs

  • Provide publications


In particular, we intend to:

  • Act as a support network for performing and interpreting PM imaging

  • Work towards optimization and standardization of paediatric and perinatal post mortem imaging across different centres

  • Facilitate collaborative research

  • Act as expert review for difficult cases
