Working Group:
Pediatric Imaging
The sub-committees of the ISFRI each play an important role in our society. They have a focus on a specific aspect of forensic radiology and imaging and as such manage a specific activity for the Society.
The paediatric imaging sub-committee shares the same overall aims as ISFRI, to:
Strengthen & develop field of forensic radiology & imaging
Promote best practice, education & specialization
Establish quality standards & guidelines
Encourage & develop research programs
Provide publications
In particular, we intend to:
Act as a support network for performing and interpreting PM imaging
Work towards optimization and standardization of paediatric and perinatal post mortem imaging across different centres
Facilitate collaborative research
Act as expert review for difficult cases
